Since 1967 NETA have been
providing quality training and advice to member
companies throughout the Midlands and
surrounding areas. We offer a wide range of
training courses specific to industrial areas
and we can also cater courses for individual
businesses with a need to educate and train its
staff.
Recently NETA has expanded to
include more nationally based organisations as
its member base.
To Promote and advance the
theoretical, practical, education and training
of persons engaged or intending to engage in the
Engineering Industry and associated occupations
such as Administration, IT and customer support.
To ensure that the Association
Member Companies, and associated Industrial
Sponsors, are assisted in initiating and
sustaining Health and Safety policies and
procedures relevant to their size and business
objectives. We also assist in the creation of
employment and training opportunities.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES
Our operations and recruitment
policies are developed and practised with
consideration towards equality and diversity,
disability and learning difficulties. Our
programs are individually catered for candidate
needs and abilities starting from our initial
assessment right through to our Key Skill
learning classes. Our belief is that if it can
be done then it will be!
NETA endeavours, at all times
to ensure all applicants, learners and staff are
treated fairly and equally. Our policy for
Apprentices promote the opportunity to express
their views independently and confidentially. We
have procedures for monitoring and acting on
these views.
Our
initial
assessment tools establish early on
occupational interests and raw ability in key
areas. Feedback for these assessments are
offered to all candidates. NETA represents the
NTN as the GenEd master Data Centre for storage
and management of all applicants.
