AA -  Now known as Advanced Apprenticeship (Previously known as Advanced Modern Apprenticeship). See Framework for this and also FMA)

LSC - Learning and Skills Council (LSC Website)

EAL - EMTA Awards Limited. Awarding body for which NETA is an accredited Centre

ERR - Employment Responsibilities and Rights

GENED - Initial Assessment Tool, used to establish capability and occupational interests. See official GenEd Site

Key Skills - Series of 5 Key areas of learning. These include: Application of Number, IT, Communications, Improving Own Learning and Working with Others.

NVQ - National Vocational Qualification ( SVQ - Scottish)

PEO - Performing Engineering Operations, NVQ Level 1 & 2 usually completed as the initial part of the AA Programme
